The Franklin College of Arts & Sciences, in partnership with the Terry College of Business, sponsors three study abroad sites in Spain: Valencia, Cádiz, and Sevilla, with the common goal of globalizing the UGA undergraduate degree.

Each program offers students a unique opportunity to develop a firm background in Spanish and strong preparation for course work required of Spanish and Romance Languages majors or minors as well as the International Business major.

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, with 900,000 inhabitants. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea and has the charm of an older European city, with the allure of a coastal town.

Founded by the Phoenicians in 1100 B.C., Cádiz is amongst the oldest settlements in Spain and serves as one of the country's principal ports.
The Sevilla Maymester program provides a unique experience for Business Spanish students. The course will provide both a theoretical and a practical orientation to the Hispanic business practices and culture.
