Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, with 900,000 inhabitants. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea and has the charm of an older European city, with the allure of a coastal town.

Valencia is known for its open-air café scenes around Plaza San Jaume and its close beaches. The 500-year-old University of Valencia is located in the oldest part of the city, known as Barrio del Carmen.

The Valencia Program includes 15-week fall and spring semesters as well as a 7-week summer option. Students will take four courses for the fall and spring or 2 courses for the summer choosing between upper level Spanish and business offerings. Courses will be taught while the University of Valencia is still in session providing an opportunity for the program's participants to immerse themselves into Spanish academic and social life.
